Meet Elaine

Elaine grew up in Whitehorse, Yukon, and her art is heavily inspired by the beautiful Yukon landscape and her supportive community. She went to Emily Carr University in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in 2010. Currently, she resides in Calgary, Alberta, where she regularly creates stunning artwork and is an incredibly active member of the Calgary community.

Elaine specializes in acrylic paintings, drawings, handmade cards, and linocut block printing & wood burning.

Elaine creates a wide range of paintings featuring vibrant colours which often reflect uniquely Canadian themes and visuals. She masterfully expresses powerful emotions through works that convey a variety of feelings and tones.

Elaine creates specialized, completely original greeting cards covering various special occasions. Her special custom greeting cards go far above anything that can be found in a store.

Special Projects

Elaine also makes a variety of specialty projects including woodworking, wood burning, linocut block printing, felt work, 3D work, and more. She enjoys art in any form, and always loves trying something new!
